pinkytheent An emotive and moody work, guiding us to reflect upon our relationship with our irreplaceable home Earth, as much a part of us as the flesh on our bones. As other note, this album is an expert blend of stoner, doom, and post-metal, flowing through, from, and between each effortlessly and in a smooth songwriting experience, rather than patchy and slapdash. Windhand, Electric Wizard, and Cult of Luna shake hands around the nighttime bonfire. Favorite track: Tretze Vents.

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Grip seamlessly mix together doom, post metal and stoner metal to create a sound that is nothing less than jaw-droppingly impressive.

Darknight This is stunning doom metal with a killer female vocalist, the songs have a cool sludgy edge to them and the whole album flows seamlessly. Favorite track: Aloja.

Roots 06:07
My eyes are dwelling to see the light But grey towers rise above Like fists that want to reach the Sun And stop our spirits to fly up high. All roots have been thrown away And our blood stained By spots of isolated minds That forgot about the land. My hands are stretching to feel the grass But all I touch are needles To remind me how far I am From the little I needed in the past.

Pirene 06:40
Trapped between two large seas Scape the jaws, to find misery Three-head giant, dethrone the queen Hidden in fields of burning trees. And from her tomb A mountain will rise In memory Of our dismal life. Trapped between love and death There’s no way but cease to exist In a world that strangles the neck Of the hope that cannot rebirth. There are no rocks Enough to hide The shame created By human pride.

Aloja 07:17
Now I can just look with my eyes, By the veil that man have set Over the truth that underlie The desperate cry of a diying nature. All is burned by the flames of greed, Darkened, it suffers, While my hands start to bleed Covering the water in darkness. But I'm only the hope That some humans deserve. I feel how my body emerges leaving behind the shame Of having my power slept, for centuries forgotten. Feet on the ground a step The lives that have been there All that I surround once withered Awake as I'm along.

Tretze Vents 07:42
Pel vessant més fred On les llums no arriben Ocells envolten el cim I a sobre, elles criden. Reunides a l’estany Invoquen tempestat.
5.
Black Hounds 05:09
Something waits, Red eyes at night, Dark thoughts obsess, The evil beasts arise. Spirits trapped in the past They can live after we die Blood is what make them last The evil beasts alive. Black Hounds over the Low Field Black Hounds overwhelm the feel They smell your destiny For an awful doom. Nail the fangs deep through the veins Tries to scream but't's too late Men or sheeps share destinies Flocks will fall anyway Fear consume those still alive. Running through paths of time Words have been forgotten To name such a fear As to feel anything real.

Solstici 07:23
The Sun shines in the sky For long blaze its rays New lifes born from the ground Cosmic eye protects us. Lay down, light starts to fall It hides by the horizon Bonfire, the spirits purify Before it sets the night. In darkness we fable With the sons of the stars Dancing in madness Around magic fires. The spark flies The Moon falls The night will end Spirits descend New days will come The Sun gets older Darkness will reign Over and over again...

about

"Solstici" takes the Catalan collective imaginary and reinterprets its stories as reflections of the darkest feelings of the human being in relation to its natural environment, now in decline.
